"The magic and the magnitude of Live Aid hit us like a shot of The Glen Livet!! The lot was massive. It was just getting dark and we parked and set up the tent. And for the whole night it seemed that everybody was walking around, greeting each other, making friends from all over the world.​ The atmosphere was by far the best I had ever encountered at a concert! We walked with big bottles of high caffeine enriched sodas. Perhaps it was Jolt? All our food was bought from a 7-11 miles earlier so we were chomping down Ring Dings and Funyuns as we walked. The smell of Ganga was all over the place. We didn’t party. I know I didn’t! No way I was going to alter this reality before me."
